Core Procedural skills - for Junior Doctors

This Core Procedural Skills Program is designed to equip internal medicine trainees with essential procedural competencies critical for high-quality patient care.

By aligning with the General Medical Council (GMC) curriculum, this program focuses on developing the practical skills, theoretical understanding, and clinical reasoning required to perform procedures safely and effectively in diverse healthcare settings.

This programme is delivered by  Consultant Level Clinicians

Course Objectives

  1. Equip internal medicine trainees with foundational procedural competencies., including DOPs 

  2. Enhance understanding of the indications, contraindications, and risks associated with core procedures.

  3. Develop proficiency through supervised hands-on practice and simulation.

  4. Ensure adherence to GMC guidelines and best practices in patient care and safety.

This programme can be booked onto as a full programme or single modules.
