Airway Management & Catastrophic Bleed Control
In emergency situations, the ability to manage a patient’s airway and control catastrophic bleeding can mean the difference between life and death. This intensive 8-hour course provides hands-on training and in-depth knowledge on two critical areas of emergency care: airway management and bleeding control. Through practical simulations, guided demonstrations, and real-world scenarios, participants will gain confidence and proficiency in managing airways, administering oxygen, and performing life-saving bleeding control techniques.
This course is designed for clinical educators and practitioners in emergency settings who want to deepen their understanding of airway devices, oxygen management, and life-saving interventions for catastrophic bleeding. With practical exercises on using the iGel, oxygen therapy, haemostatic dressings, and tourniquets, participants will be equipped with the skills needed to handle complex situations with competence and precision.
