Cannulation Workshop

This cannulation course involves the taught theory of cannulation and a practical workshop. The day will include learning and discussion on:

Anatomy & physiology

Consent

Local policy & procedure

Infection control

Cannulation equipment

Documentation

Followed by a practical skills workshop, to consolidate learnt theory and practice, giving participants times to practice their new skills under the supervision and guidance.

Please be aware after this course you will be required to complete supervised cannulations before clinical sign off, within your own clinical setting.
